What exactly is a Page & Parcel?
Twelve brand-new books, each one wrapped and labelled with the month and year it's to be opened, packed together in one presentation box. The child opens one book a month for a year.
Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once and the whole parcel arrives together. Nothing is charged monthly and nothing more is sent.
Which month does it start from?
You choose. While personalising your parcel, you'll tell us the month and year their first book should be opened, and we'll label the books from there.
What do you need to know about the child?
Their first name, age, birthday month and interests, and when their parcel should start. You can also tell us about books they already own, but that part is optional. You'll fill this in after adding a parcel to your cart, before you check out.
How do you choose the books?
We prepare twelve books using the child's age and interests, leaving out any you've told us they already own. Then a real person checks every selection before it's sent. You'll receive your book list within 24 hours of your paid order, and usually much sooner. Any wait is simply us checking it by hand.
Can I change the books?
Yes. Your book-review email opens a private page with your twelve books and a set of alternatives. You have 48 hours from when we send it to make as many swaps as you like, then confirm your twelve. The deadline is shown on that page.
What if I don't reply in time?
If you don't respond at all, we'll go ahead with the original twelve. If you start making changes but don't confirm, or mark books they already own without finishing your selection, we'll hold your parcel and get in touch.
What if I don't know which books they already have?
That's fine. Most people don't. If you spot one they own on your review page, just swap it.
What's the difference between Little Notes and Letters from You?
Both parcels have the same twelve books, wrapping and box. The Little Notes Parcel comes with a little note from us for each month, written for the child's age. The Letters from You Parcel replaces our notes with twelve messages written by you, one for each month, which we print and seal in individual envelopes. Letters from You costs an extra $40.
How do I send my twelve letters?
Online, one message for each opening month. You can write them while personalising your parcel, or choose Finish later and we'll email you a private link after we've accepted your order. You can save a draft and come back, then click Confirm all 12 messages when you're done. There's no need to email attachments. For Christmas parcels, please aim to confirm your messages by 30 November 2026. If you need a little longer, contact hello@pageandparcel.com.au and we'll work with you.
Which collection should I choose?
Go with the age that suits their reading, not just their birthday. If they're a confident reader for their age, the next collection up may suit them better.
Can I buy parcels for more than one child?
Yes. Each parcel in your cart gets its own personalisation, so every child's details and books are kept separate.
Can you send it straight to the child?
Yes. Just enter their address as the shipping address at checkout.
How much is shipping?
Standard shipping within Australia is included in the price.
Do you ship overseas?
Not yet. We currently only send within Australia.
Will it arrive before Christmas?
Every order placed during November 2026 is guaranteed to arrive before Christmas. We prepare, pack and send November parcels progressively as each one is ready, rather than in one batch at the end of the month.
How long does delivery take the rest of the year?
Allow 7–10 business days from your paid order. Delays in completing letters or confirming book changes will add time.
What do you do with the information about the child?
We only use it to choose their books and put their parcel together. We don't sell it or share it for marketing.
